I want to wish all of my fellow worms a very merry christmas! I received books by John Green and many other authors! What books did you get??
Hey Worms!
It's the holiday break! I know I haven't posted in awhile, but here's a "holiday" edition. ;) So If any of you have a christmas book list, feel free to comment them below. Here's my list... 1. Pretty much every book by John Green (Fault Of Our Stars and others) 2. Crank by Ellen Hopkins 3. Some random Lemony Snicket books. And more... So aside from books, I could use some song recommendations, if you don't mind. I can't seem to find the perfect song. I love alternative music, if anyone else in the world does to I would LOVE your recommendations. Okay, now I want to talk about a book... my favorite book (it's hard to have one) Where Things Come Back. This book opened my eyes and made me truly think about life. Now everyone says eyeopening relating to books, movies, TV show, and even the news. But this is a truly amazing book that you can read about in the blog post below. Lets talk about school reading, teachers in my past have made me read slow, depressing, boring books that I will never talk about again. It has got better now, I love how my teacher respects our opinions and wants to make class fun. Has anyone else experienced this before? I think students remember a book that they love so much more than a book they despise. So, as I get off my soap box, I want you to remember. It doesn't hurt to ask you teacher if you want to read a certain book in class. Compromises can be made... you might even get to read the book you want to. Keep on reading!! -AH Ages- 14 and up |
